England's greatest current strength across formats is how their bowlers put in effort with the bat. That was the difference in the WC and should be a boon for them in Tests as well when they find decent top order batsmen. That they can't bowl is a different matter :phehe:

 

Hopefully our next coach emphasizes the lower order valuing their wickets. Only Bhuvi and Ishant do that currently.

Their bowler are useless on flat decks. Specialist bowlers work in all conditions.

They are missing a proper spinner and an express bowler. Too many of their bowlers are swing bowlers. Finding another Swann will be hard, but an express bowler is doable. Archer could be good for them when he plays

Aussies slowly gaining back the momentum?

Both batsmen scoring at 100% strike rate for last few overs and looking comfortable. Trail by only 30 runs.

 

Target of 250 or more would be curtains for poms, who are gonna bat last.
