All stadiums in India have to auction their naming rights.This will create additional revenue streams for all the teams.No need to name them after any leaders.

While i tend to agree that maybe AJ did not deserve a stadium named in his name, he has done much more for DDCA than FSK. 

 

As other stadiums in India are named after administrators I dont see much of the issue. This is just a continuation of the practice.

Does it matter ? as long as Mr.Popatlal  pays handsome money to have his name.These stadium are built by using tax payers money, they should not burdened by their maintanence.The money  generated could be used to pay for the stadiums cost and maintanence.

 

Naming rights have to be auctioned every five years.Use the funds to create more amenities for paying public and make their stadium experience more enjoyable.

 

What will they get by naming it after a politician.If that politician is a well wisher of public, he would want public to get more amenities.
