Worried about India’s fast bowling bench

India has its best fast bowling attack ever. We are not even missing our best bowler Bumrah because Ishant-Yadav and Shami on their own are one  of the best pace combos in the world.

Not to forget we also have Bhuvi in the mix as well who is an important member of our pace attack.

However all these bowlers except Bumrah are in the same age group. There could be a situation when a couple of them or more might hit the downhill at the same time.

We just don’t seem to be grooming anyone else and taking this golden phase for granted.

Test championship is important and we have to take games against weak sides like WI and Bang seriously but at the same time could have been our best bet to give some experience to 1-2 rookie bowlers to bowl along side the senior bowlers.

Hope we are not taking things for granted because all good things come to an end and we will be screwed if we don’t think about the future.

Also this isn’t about some xyz bowling at 150k at some domestic game, this is more about the team management grooming the next set of fast bowlers

You need a separate court for maniac if everyone starts doing that on ICF. All his watch this space players have threads before he put them in “ watch this space”

I had started a thread on similar lines some time back  ... although it is specifically about the next gen quick bowlers.
