SA cricket is in deep water it seems. After the exit of De villiers and Morkel, they hv been playing like Minnows.  That too at home.  Right now, they are at par with the current Windies team. :omg:

WI is a beast at home in comparison - look at home records of cockroach, gabriel and AR record of holder. they drew with eng, whereas saffers are getting a royal thrashing.

By keeping those reservations they have killed the goose. Apparently there is no talent emerging in first class cricket. South Africas glory days are over. Such a heart break for cricket fans world over.

when one team goes down, another rises. WI has been playing much better in past 2 yrs or so than they did before. it seems to me that their resurgence may help offset sa's decline to some extent.

Ideally Faf should step down as a captain after back to back series losses.

Faf will probably be forced into retirement since the CSA board is full of noobs who press the panic buttom often and make random selections. only good move I saw from them and TM was bringing nortje in.

South africa used to defeat top teams away from home. West Indies still has many many miles to go.

yes, the balance is unequal. looks like it will most probably be just Ind and Aus at the top. Eng are too inconsistent and NZ have some limitations when it comes to beating top test teams (Aus and Ind). the rest are just varying degrees of poor.
