Did he not win us series in Pakistan, West Indies.. Almost won that series in Australia.. scored heavily in NZ, England.. the only Indian player to average more outside than Home. Has the distinction of scoring a century in every test playing nation and against every country... his record is only tarnished by South Africa. Plus his slip catching. Highest test catches. Pressure situation player. Amarnath had an avg of 55 in Aus and Dravid 43 , amarnath also was brillaint against Wi that time which was best team. Also 5th bowling option is important....sehwag n sachin shudnt be considered 5th bowling option in aus yes he scored heavily in Nz n ENG, if its picking a team in Nz n ENG ill pick dravid but in Aus laxman batted better then him . I also picked an ATG Indian team in NZ condition where i picked dravid over both amarnath n laxman . I just dont fall for name only . Not like Patil has a good record in Aus so he comes in. Patil is not an AT11 player and picking such players defeats the purpose of AT11 .... You should ideally be having 3 seamers unless the spinners are like Warne and Murali (who can do well in most conditions) More imp, the hard part of picking 11 is done. So you don’t have to list your 11. Just discuss who would win based on the teams in OP
