BCCI killing test cricket with these tracks

What a boring track, so flat. Guaranteed draw. These tracks dont even break up on day 4/5 anymore! Why do they still produce such flat tracks? They dont even suit our team anymore as we usually win with tracks with something in it for bowlers. Are the BCCI trying to kill test cricket with these ridiculous tracks?

Which grounds actually seam around and swing a bit in India during this season? I'd think the weather has a lot to do with it. But around November, when we played Pakistan, there are no excuses for the absolutely dead pitches at the Kotla and Eden Gardens. Bangalore was a bit better but it was also pretty unsatisfactory on the last 2 days (but thats expected, so that was ok). At the MCG, they used a drop-in pitch, causing all sorts of problems for the batsmen. But I'd think for us, drop-in pitches would probably help out a little bit more because they'll be a bit more hard for the first few sessions, and we can get the ball to seam of the pitch and cause a few problems for the batsmen.

Cant believe you guys are jumping the gun after just one day's play. I would wait for 2 more days before pronouncing a judgment. The true nature of the track can be assessed only after both sets of batting and bowling units have had their chance to show what they can do.

This $hit has started after the initiative a few years back to revamp the pitches in India and make them more sporting. A few years back even though the tracks were a bit on the spin friendly side they would produce results. Over the last 2-3 seasons we have been seeing one patta after another in the pursuit of lively pitches and thousands of dollars paid to some pitch consultants from abroad.

Yeah whatever. GUARANTEED DRAW! We cruise to no loss at end of days play. WHAT A BORING TRACK!
