Apparently Da Silva received the fifth largest number of votes in last year's state assembly election, and she previously served two terms as local mayor in the city of Bombinhas."

A Brazilian senator has faced backlash on social media for wearing a revealing outfit at her inauguration ceremony. She insists that the way she dresses has nothing to do with her job and now wants to bring her cyber bullies to justice.

Ana Paula da Silva, known locally as “Paulinha”, wants to prosecute those who targeted her with hateful comments, and pundits say she could have the law on her side.

The freshman senator entered the international spotlight earlier this week after photos emerged of her attending a swearing-in ceremony at the Legislative Assembly of the southern Brazilian state of Santa Catarina.

Paulinha, who served two terms as mayor of the city of Bombinhas prior to her election to the state legislature, was pictured donning a revealing red jumpsuit with a matching top, which she later took off.

While her first-day outfit choice was widely acclaimed on social media both in Brazil and overseas, some commenters described it as “shocking” and “vulgar”, and branded Paulinha a “representative of prostitutes”.

According to Brazil’s G1.com news portal, one of the attackers identified himself as a military police officer.

The 44-year-old senator says the comments have hit her very hard. “Being criticised in public life is something normal and expected. But I felt psychologically violated,” she told the Extra newspaper. “An internet user said that if I get raped I cannot complain. One woman commented that I could not speak of God, for God would not bless a woman like me.”

“I also have my side empowered and that makes me get up every day and say: this is me and I fight to break paradigms and patterns that do not fit with what I think and think many women who are represented by me.”

Criminal lawyer Leonardo Costella was quoted as saying that in the lawmaker’s case, the offensive comments can qualify as libel or slander, and da Silva can claim compensation for moral damages.

Looks like she with her revealing red dress, the military officer and the news outlets are running this story to promote a feminist backlash. Take for example a simple horny guy. He wouldn't hate this woman and threaten rape. As is the case with the comments in this thread, there is some  involved but nothing serious. And think about Brazil with its open culture with bikinis in the beach. Would the men of that country issue such threats. That guy who voluntarily identified as a military officer and issued the rape threat is part of this divide and conquer scheme and so is her. Most don't know that the top brass of military officers, politicians, music, cinema, etc and are all freemasons.

And btw this woman has some high cheekbones for a woman. She also has a eyebrow ridge and deep set eyes so she doesn't need sunglasses. I'll let you decide what I'm trying to say here :winky: Also Brazil is the plastic surgery capital of the world. They don't call it the brazilian butt lift for nothing. Those tits on this "woman" don't look natural on a bony frame. Its also a craze among the locals to get muscles for men and be busty with wide hips for women by surgical means. So much that some people are hooked onto it to an extreme extent and jeopardize their health.

If any woman is gung ho on feminist issues in the media, she is more likely to use the term gender neutral in the media. Its a play on words. It doesn't mean there will be a neutral and impartial when it comes to sexes. It means the future will have neutral gender. Its truth in plain sight and the masses are sleeping staring at the two things staring into you  . It also means that woman is not really a woman but a tranny. Hey btw Brazil welcomes all those glaad ceremonies. maybe its a paradise for those given to such obscenities. :yuck:
