Why BCCI does not have a dedicated youtube channel?

You don't need to go to youtube if you're planning to develop own video platform.

 

Initially bcc.tv wasn't much of news site, it was made as video platform with free streaming of matches and other videos. 

 

Now we can say that it hasn't progressed as video platform much, but instead of youtube they should try to improve their own platform.

 

There is a reason that hostar and netflix don't go to youtube. bcci.tv isn't hotstar, but could have been cricketing hotstar. Started as dedicated platform, didn't evolve much.

They have highlights of international matches involving India at home since 2014 & they have put hundreds of videos of the both the teams including the pressers + pre & post match interviews. Most of the videos haven't even got a thousand views. 

Why they just can't put up a 10-15 min videos of a LOI or day of play in a test match?

Guys - Anyone knows where can I watch the highlights of Asia Cup 2018? ACC website is hopeless and neither they have highlights in youtube.

 

I want to see India vs Pakistan 23rd Sept match highlights where both Dhawan & Rohit scored century. It was a great game but I never managed to see it again after watching it live on the match day. The video is not there in any public domain.

 

Can someone confirm where can I watch it?

Hotstar has everything from that event. But maybe you need an indian VPN.

BCCI.Tv is really good and it covers all aspects of watching anything related to Indian cricket. Besides i think BCCI wants to protect plagiarizing which is easier if your content is hosted and under your control.
