Not sold on Riyan Parag. I rate Abhishek Sharma way higher and he has been a let down.

 

Bishnoi is actually 90% ready to play internationals if you ask me. Rate him only marginally over Rahul Chahar.

 

Need to see more from Paddikal. Sometimes I just have this feeling, hope I am not wrong.

Bowling-No, absolutely horrible bowling lineup, will get smothered even by bangladeshis let alone eng. 

Washington Sundar is a darter who is ok for t20s but thats it. A poor man's Imad Wasim TBF.

bowlers only mature with age. Look at Saini for example. Was raw in the Mavi Nagarkotti mould but look at him evolve

I want to see bishnoi for few season, once his novelty wears off

Markhande looked great but now no were

Remeber chawla who was troubling sachin then found out

 

I like bishnoi , he reminds me of tahir but few season for him 

 

Rahul chahar acc to me is the best young spinner in terms of talent in country , no one comes close. He also can hold bat and is a really good fielder

they both can play as batsman, pant is a better keeper and kishen better fielder so it solves itself 

 

In India A often  2 of kishen , pant , samson have played in XI

agree on washi bowling, i dnt rate it highly either 

but i dnt trust abhishek, samad, riyan with more then 5 overs as of now .....5 n 6th bowling option shud be capable of bowling 12-15 overs

That’s fine I am not saying Kishen shouldn’t be in the list but Sarfaraz is a proper bat who has a triple and has turned it around and in fact was identified as a prodigy. Glad to see him fix his mental and physical issues. He is definitely one for the future. If given an option as a pure bat  a proper 360 degree bat like Sarfaraz over Kishen

he will have his issues with ball coming in but everyone will have some issue which they ll have to get over to become better players

Coz whatever i hve seen kishen plays pace better and clears boundaries much easily , i dnt mind sarfu at 5,6 but not higher and he doesnt bowl. 

Ideally i so wanna fit parag coz i have seen him doing Dhoni kind of innings in end but problem with is where are the overs coming from

The good thing is we have few upcoming lower middle order potential - Samad, Sarfu, Riyan parag, abhishek......was getting sick n tired of just top order option

I don’t disagree with your list we are 90% on the same page but the reason why I am hell bent on rating Sarfaraz higher is because he checks a lot of boxes

 

Child Prodigy

Did well in IPL and was a mainstay for a while before decline

Didn't give up, worked hard. Started smacking doubles and triples in Ranji. Also he plays for Mumbai, being the top scorer for a team like that and becoming a mainstay in that team is way more difficult. He is a whale (doesn’t look like one any more )  in a big ocean now and not a big fish in a small pond.

I think did alright in some A tour games as well.

 

That is a path I look for then a few IPL or even worse Syed Mushtaq Ali knocks.

 

Obviously you and me are not selectors but where we are better than teams like Pak,SL,Wi is we have a pathway and as your idol MSD would say “process” which we take pride in.

Abhishek sharma is also a child prodigy but as of now i really like him , sarfraz i need to see him more against geniune pace didnt ike what i saw in game one against Rabada n norje

yes he did amazing in domestic

if you look at it in isolation it is not but if you see how they managed the fall after the initial hype is what is impressive.

Ok my bad then. However I rate the ability of a player to raise against adversity. He had all the talent in the world, developed arrogance and laziness, learnt his lesson and worked hard. That itself should make him a very strong cricketer.
