Played one good knock plus I'll let go of a couple more because he was part of a partnership and Padikkal was going strong at the other end.

Will persist with him for a few more games. Esp given there is no direct replacement.

29(27)

20(21)

52(35)

8(7)

13(14)

2(9)

I feel he is better suited for middle order in these conditions. He is struggling against swing early on.

With Pappu as opener, Finch can play at 4 with Rat and ABD as buffers above and below. Also means that ABD won't have to keep. Gurkeerat will have to sit out.

yes absolutely yes , u need leaders on ground

  • Phillipe looked fish out of water
  • Moeen will be served with bouncer after bouncer
  • Finch helps devdutt being an experienced player
  • Again do not do to much changes , this is why KXIP n RR are suffering

I think Finch in the middle order will fix couple of problems for them. Except ABD, they don't have power hitters in the middle order. Finch is also good vs spin. He could play at 4.

Also, Pappu is an experienced pro who can guide DevD while opening. ABD won't be burdened with keeping either.

Not sure if it's just bcoz of CSK or Kohli batting masterclass, but bewdas put in a very good team performance today. Starting to look like a decent team finally :fear1:

RCB is a very good side, they did very well on auction

Morris will be their biggest strength now

  • Morris+saini+ chahal in middle overs is bloody good attack
  • Morris n Saini in death
  • As pitches get slower sundar becomes full bowler
  • On these wkts its even diff to hit bowlers like dube or stonis
  • Udana wont also be easy to hit n they can play around with his slot with zampa or moeen any time
  • Finch is a great help to kohli the captain like morgan is helping DK
  • Finch n padikkal is also left right which fans underestimate
  • Finch is a big player will get them out in tough games, Watson was failing last whole yr yet dhoni persisted with him for a reason

RCB looks like the 4th team that will qualify

Pappu doesn't have mileage, so he won't really waste too many balls. Will max make quick 20-30 runs and get out. Played this role well for Mumbai. AB will get to bat even at 5.

Anyways, these are just suggestions.

RCB look decent this year. If they can add a power hitter in the middle order from somewhere, then they are dark horses of the tournament.

Morris can do that job even though his batting has declined but pacers he still can

Dube shud be used against spinners not sundar

Udana n moeen will be rotated , udana can also slog pretty well

Agree . After all he is  GUN player and captaining AUS  and has it in him to make that little adjustment needed  to survive initial 3-4 overs.

But in last 2 innings ,mind did not seem to be there .  Need to give couple of more chances .
