birth of Star batsmen.. pattern

Was just checking VK dob and then went on to check others as well.. and saw this pattern.. 

 

Sachin/ Dravid/ Saurav/ VVS.. all born in the same periods ( 1973/74 )..  then there is a long gap of 6 years or so before our next superstars are born - Yuvraj / MSD -1981 .. ( Sehwag though officially born in 78.. )

 

again a gap of 6 years or so for Rohit / Kohli to emerge ( 1987/ 1988 ).. Raina/ Shikhar in 85 but havent got the superstar status for India ( Raina definitely for CSK ).. 

 

KLR -92 has to break this pattern.. 

 

next probable batch in Gill/ Shaw born in 1999..  10 years after rohit/kohli.. 

 

Is it that those very good batsman born just after superstars find it hard to reach to the next level due to weight of comparisons / expectations?

Well it's hard to break into a settled team. All those batsmen born between 74 to 81 would've spent their peak years in domestics so never had chance to be stars
