Have to agree with @velu here. I also think that Mallya got such a bad name because of the way he treated his employees. And that's the reason why the whole case went public. Had he treated his employees as well as he treated his kingfisher models, public opinion would have been managed.

they were paid far more than what other companies were paying ..

IT blocked all kfa accounts , so he was unable to pay his employees ..

pending dues were peanuts and he was in a position to pay them from his pockets which he didn’t do ( tatas and Ambani’s pay their employees  even if their company is failing )

The bigger issue is the amount of harm Adani's project is going to do to the Aussie ecology. The whole public is against the project. And then there's a bigger nexus between the politicians and this particular business. It is natural that the people will protest and rightly so.

mining is Australia's significant sector , highly doubt  adanis will add any significant damage to their ecology ..

and this whole public is against it and all is most probably a typical soundbite :giggle:

Texas is the heart of fracking industry where trump won ( claiming biden will ban fracking in usa ) ..

if the loan is risky , then they charge more interest ..

if banks don’t give loan then companies  will go with foreign banks or private equity ..

nirav Modi is a fraud ..

Mallyas kingfisher is a genuine business failure ..

Mallya may or may not channelled some loan money for his own , but I can’t say he did cheat or not but even if he did cheat the magnitude of it will be inconsequence..

His biggest mistake was giving personal guarantee to the loans that his airlines took ..

he offered to repay the principle long back , but banks kept asking principle with full interest ( we dont have bankruptcy laws then )  instead of taking some haircut ..

Current law is say you take 100 crore loan by pledging 150 crore property ( or any collateral ) for your company , and you lose all your money and banks want their 100 crore back , then they do whatever they want with your 150 crore property that is pledged ( if the property price  goes to 10 crore , banks take 90 crore loss )

Spot on about Mallya, he might have used loan money for personal use but running airlines is such messy business. It was a big mistake on his part to start that airlines.

Cool bro. But have you actually studied Australia's mining practices or just googled the nos? :) Do you know the emphasis of sustainability in mining in Australia? And have you studied the record of Adani?

A bit of deeper study helps.
