nevada Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 Pandya batted with self belief and got us the win despite an ever mounting asking rate. His confidence and swagger is from his IPL experience. Unlike our fattu batting specialists, he bats with freedom because he knows he is an IPL star and even if he gets benched by Kohli, his financial future is secure. In the game that he bowled in, he bowled slow cutters and fared better than the specialists who continued brainless bowling despite being shown how to get it done! With today's impressive display, Natarajan has delivered back to back impactful performances which is not easy in this format for even the best of bowlers. It's a great feel good story to see this guy make successful transition from the TNPL to the IPL to international cricket. zen, Suhaan and velu 1 2
zen Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 (edited) What is noteworthy is that SDP & Natarajan focused on mastering relatively difficult aspects of the game -> 6s & yorkers respectively! Edited December 6, 2020 by zen nevada 1
Ankit_sharma03 Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 Lesson is dont be brainless while hyping somene or dismissing someone on IPL, performance is performance . Natrajan has right skills for t20 so he shud be tested same way Varun.C Tewatia and samad fit team requirement so they shud also be tested in various ways Dont get lost by pandey runs in IPL , see where he bats an get those runs in IPL Dont get fooled by Dhawan runs in IPL coz their is international t20 which proves it doesnt translate Dont get fooled by unadkat, kaul one season performances as they they only did for 1-2 season but most importantly they lacked skills Dont decide black or white, just look for more....thoda dimag lagao . Even if they fail dnt abuse IPL or them not every domestic legend turned into great international player. Its about trying right set of player and rest whatever has to happen will happen
