Is tyagi in the squad?I'd pick him above any of the other 3 .

But if not, I'd pick umesh purely because of his knack of breaking partnerships (although he's bad in Australia) ,I believe saini and siraj will be destroyed in australia ,Siraj night be useful in the D/N match

Tyagi is not ready for tests from what we saw in the practice match

@Suhaan @Ankit_sharma03

Cricket acumen 101 :)

I don't have bias against him,he is absolutely devastating in SC conditions but he hasn't done anything overseas,he was good here but still if you look how did he bo upfront,it was usual terrible lines,down leg,

He bowls some jffas out of nowhere, that's it,but it won't work always,but he surely  proved his selection right here

India needs to rotate its fast bowlers,let them be hungry,let them be fresh and ready

There was nothing surprising, TBH. His problem has always been consistency.

He is consistent now. He drifts on the pads because he has a killer booming outswinger that when pitches right is unplayable almost like a leg spinning delivery by Warne.

So he used to get carried away.

Also guys like him and Shami will keep coming at you and they don’t have too many variations. What they have is impeccable zip they get which hits the bat harder than what the speed guns show. That’s why they go for runs because the batsman gets a measure of them but eventually they will get one through or get that perfect jaffa.

Shami is better than Umesh but both are same type of bowlers with Shami being more consistent while Umesh is marginally quicker.
