So with all the news surrounding injuries & possibly lack of match practice & form for a lot of our players what's the realistic expectation of this touring party's odd in the 4 tests down under? We know Aus aren't the unbeatable force they were under Waugh or even Ponting but can India really surprise us with a SA like performance, sans ABDV & Steyn, back in 2016?

Rahane is a decent captain. Better in slips, less impulsive with DRS, more aggressive field sets and he even gave an inspired debut to Kuldeep in tests last time he captained.. who knows might even win couple of tosses
