Warne still seems to have hangover of Waugh/Ponting era.  Eng coming back to draw ashes, we beating them handsomely at MCG are enough proofs to say that Aussies are no way near to that team.

They are good now too. Just that those Aussie teams feasted on weak bowling attacks of sub continent in 2000 era.

Now that attacks have improved they are struggling.

We may still lose it 3-1 due to inept performance but now that Kohli is not there, it surely won't be because of some jingbang style strategy ( in other words ch****pa) that will bring our downfall.

That also is true for batting.  Batting have regressed badly as well.  Apart from Smith none of these batters will make it to 2000's ATG Aussie team.  Labu has feasted on weak attacks as well.

But bowling is class. Batting ? Blame it on T20 and too many other distractions. Easy money is available via franchzie cricket. Why kill yourself in tests? That's how players think.

In saying that the boys even now we're belting everyone. It's just that India's powerful pace attack made them look a bit toothless..

Depends on pitches too
