my point is not just about this election , how DMK/DK lords treat their cadres as garbage and how these cadres still shamelessly work for them ( maybe for free or for 200rs or for 200rs + quarter :giggle: )   ..

you are free to close your eyes whenever you see something not in favor of dmk/dk

Just shows that you are a privileged keyboard warrior not understanding the ground level politics in work here.

DMK ( or for that matter ADMK , BJP or any party) have built ground level cadres with immense hard work. The reason the cadres are supporting the party may vary. For example BJP can have cadres who support them for building Ram temple. DMK may have cadres because of their Atheist views. While we may not agree with the reason , don't just have an elitist view that quarter , kozhi Biriyani is influencing ground level cadres. If it was that simple, any party can influence with money . You think BJP cannot give the same "quarter" to people?

ground level reality is , unless you pay money + transport + food + alcohol to these cadrs they wont come for rallies ( dmk or admk or any other party )

Cadres are different from the crowd that comes to rallies. A rally crowd is a combination of undecided voters, people who are bored , party cadres, people who are attracted to star power etc. Let me tell you how it works

The news that a leader is going to speak will come from the top. Every cadre in the ondriyam level then starts their work. An announcement is made in every street with autos and cycles that the leader is going to speak. Posters and banners are erected all over the town. All this with their own money.  This happens for EVERY individual constituency in the state. Politics is a costly business. Word of mouth spreads and people come to hear the leader. Sometimes this works, sometimes not. I can show you some examples of Stalin speaking in front of empty crowds too. It all depends on the ground work.

There are some cases where the crowds are filled for money , but that is for national leaders who come once or twice a year. But for election rallies, that too can't be done because of EC restrictions. Regional parties literally can't afford giving 200 rs per person for every rally during an election. Do you even know the no of rallies Stalin or EPS are attending in a day?

People are ignorant if you think this crass talk is something new with politics or for DMK . DMK had a very famous politician called Theepori Arumugam who specialised in these crass talks . And he would feature in most DMK prominent rallies . Some of the **** he would talk about Jayalalitha would force you to peel your ears (Just google them) . DMK has always had this culture . It’s nothing new with them . Just like the rowdy element attached with them. It’s part of DMK culture .Anyone denying this is really oblivious to the reality of Political reality here .

But BJP lecture about crass talk is but rich when they are sending Radharavi to campaign in political rallies everywhere . A sample of his speech.

The only party who had dignified speech in regard to women during elections was ADMK that too when Jayalalitha was at the helm . But after her death even ADMK has been no different to DMK .

i am not that politically ignorant , i know how rallies work in small towns like erode/bhavani ( definitely have no idea about cbe/chennai kind , might bew ay more expensive to organize  )  ..

unless someone is a celebrity , no neutral public  will go and listen to them and this is applicable to eps/ops/stalin  ..

during election time same set of people will attend both dmk/admk shows after pocketing some money .. i dont have any stat but i can say that 75/80% of the people who attend rallies/shows for both dmk/admk are paid to attend

if i am not wrong alagiri organized 5L people rally in chennai to show off his strength and i assume he dont have any base/fans there in chennai

Another example of the classy attitude BJP has towards women . Wonder how ashamed BJP supporters should be to support BJP now lol
“In 2018, H. Raja tweeted that Kanimozhi is someone who was born as an illegitimate child. Poet Vairamuthu is the son of a sex worker. Officials of the Department of Hindu Religion and Charitable Endowments who sell the land after taking bribes are those who sell the women in their houses,” etc are some of the instances listed in the letter. The letter adds that H Raja not only passes these comments himself but also encourages his party men who express misogynistic comments about women. “When BJP’s Karu Nagarajan spoke about Congress MP Jothimani in an obscene manner, H Raja was the first person to come out in support of Nagarajan,” the letter said.
Anyway to the point:

Interesting, Thanthi shows H Raja in a tight three way fight and allegations for which he has said sorry for multiple times are brought up. For the record, what he said was wrong. He was rightly criticised even by those within TN BJP.

I hope the noted Meena Kandaswamy also writes to the voters of Katpadi for what DMK General Secretary has done.

Though Jayalalithaa was making her way out of the House surrounded by members of the Opposition who'd formed a human shield around her, DMK Minister Durai Murugan rushed towards her to hit her.

Jayalalithaa also bore the brunt of the attack and when she attempted to leave the House, Minister Durai Murugan reportedly caught hold of her saree leading to an ugly situation.

So if BJP supporters are to be ashamed, I wonder what DMK supporters should do? H Raja spoke words. Durai Murugan (who has been promoted to general secretary) is involved in physical violence against women. It does appear attacking women is the way to the top in the DMK?

You can't say 75-80 percent after accepting that you don't have any stats. Anyways this will go in circles no use in talking.  Btw ADMK during JJ period actually introduced money for votes concept. I had a huge laugh when I saw thalaivi trailer when Kangana says something like "kaasukaga vote podravanga yaarum enaku Venam" something. Oru alavuku than adichu vidalam :phehe:

Every party in TN is misogynistic because TN culture itself is deeply sexist and misogynistic. Yes DMK have done some good things for women like share in ancestral property, reservation etc but deep down they were always sexist. JJ had to go through a lot.Not that she was an angel of course but still, basic decency was/is missing

where has Raja apologised for words he said against Kanimozhi or Vairamuthu.

More than happy to be corrected if you can post the source for him apologising .

As for DMK and Durai Murugan they are always a party of misogynistic and rowdism . That will never change. That’s why they have always been the negative party when they win elections . Mostly win win people vote against something not actually for them.

So that justifies abusing his mother ? Do tell me what did Vairamuthu mother said about Andal to be called a sex worker .

All you are doing is justifying one misogynistic view while criticising other for the same . Depending on side of the karaivetti you support .

Your right, he has not apologised for that specifically. My mistake. He said sorry to the Madras high court for something else. As a PIL is filed against him and is the courts for those remarks, I think he will apologise when the time comes during the case. As he rightly should.

Out of curiosity, has DMK general secretary Durai Murugan said sorry for assaulting Jayalalitha.

Not sure about durai Murugan apologizing  , I think JJ took it to her advantage ..

JJ might thank him for what he did

Durai Murugan is my favourite Tamil politician though , more thug life videos are there with him than Karunanidhi

Doubt it . If not mistaken he even denies that in public .

I m not sure whether vairamuthu apologized , but if he had not apologized for his aandal comments , then he don't deserve any apology from h Raja ..

So called pseudo seculsrs bash only hindu gods  and don't have any courage to talk about other religions ..
