Both offer more than a specialist 4th quick. Play Bumrah, Ishant, Siraj and these two at 7-8. Shami, Umesh are pretty poor in England. All said and done Thakur's FC batting avg is just 16, and English play dozens of bowlers like him in county, nothing new for them. Sundar's bowling simply isn't test class, he needs to work on it, age on his side so let's hope for the best. Hardik again has stopped bowling in T20s, doubt he can bowl 12-15 overs per day in long format....without his bowling he can't find a spot in our squad of 18, sorry. 

 

Drop Ashwin only if Bhuvi regains full match fitness and can hit his 2014 peak both with ball and bat. Quite unlikely since he has been out of red ball cricket for so long.

If Ashwin and Jadeja are fit, I will play both of them and then play 3 fast bowlers with Siraj as one of them.Shami won't be in my playing eleven. If the wicket is completely green then I would drop Jadeja and play an extra batsman. This is a ICC match so  wicket will made to last long so might be be on flatter side.
