Yeah he have fitness issues. But he is our one of the best swing bowler.

Shami is not a swing bowler. Siraj guarantees early wicket. If we go with Boom and Shami, we might not even get any wicket like it happened in NZ. Their pace will be down after 17 and 14 games of IPL respectively.

Jadeja batting avg in eng 30.better than pujara and rahane. Jadeja is very crucial for india. If Pandya bowl or not jadeja should be in team. Jadeja had one more positive he is left hand batsman.

Pandya has a 5-fer in England and his batting is of match winning abiltiy in England. Both Pandya and Pant are no.6 standard batsman while Jadeja is mostly no.7. Maybe play Jadeja as well because his fielding, batting and bowling all adds value.

So what? Clarke has a 6fer in India 

 

As for batting he's not test quality as yet, he doesn't have that kind of defense to survive in Eng as we found out in the 8 innings he played

True Rohit ain't surviving for long.  But instead of getting Vihari to open we should go with Sundar & have a left right combo at the top.  Sundar has opening experience for his state & has compact technique plus scoring shots & most importantly a left hander.  Our left handers have averaged 55 in Australia on two tours & RHB only 27.

Jaddu & Pant have done well in England as well.  Sundar at the top can do wonders for us.

A tough call to make. Sundar will give another spinning option, in that case we don't need Jadeja, can play Pandya at 7 if he is fully fit. But I doubt they will make this change going into test championship final.

Why the eff should WTC final be played in England in June?  Rain.  Clouds.  Grassy Lords.  Makes for boring cricket.  I'd rather that they either play it in Eden Gardens - the best cricketing environment by far, or Motera - awesome stadium,  or as a Boxing Day match in Australia.   

 

Yeah, yeah ... I know ... tradition and all that, but let's be pragmatic.
