NBD, he was max going to play the pink ball test. The 4th test he would've been back on the bench anyway. Even in the pink ball test, he wouldn't necessarily have done well. He has a poor record everywhere outside of England.

India in the first test against England did not bowl any bouncers or short ball at beginning. They carried on bowling length balls hoping to nick him. Shami shd have tried. There was no Bumrah as well. And that made him slam a few and suddenly india panicked and India instead of chasing 120 had to chase 180. Big big regret

Yeah we were almost there to breach Edgebaston fortress..  Still no Asian team has won a Test match there.  Whatta legendary choke..  No Test match scheduled there this time though
