Exactly. It's like they are bowling slower ones just for the sake of it. 3 slower balls in an over is being too predictable. You have other skills at your disposal like fast yorkers and bouncers. Dhoni was batting and bowlers avoid bowling full length to Dhoni.

Length ball actually gets dhoni our a lot in slog overs because aa he goes back for yorker, length ball hits on the bat but short of length quick stuff is better for Dhoni, rather than bowling fuller or length at the stumps.

When was the last time dhoni played helicopter. Must have been 2013 againsst faulkner in banglore n malinga same venue in IPL. A lot of bowlers who had confidence in them executed yorkers well against him at his peak. He played helicopter very very rarely. Hardik must have played as many helicoptee shots till now thats how less he played them. As far as going deep in crease everyone is doing it specially who bat at death. express bowling 1
