Why no yorkers by Ashok when he has a good one ?

Disappointed about this aspect.

Maybe not feeling confident of that.

He doesnt look that comfortable round the wkt at the moment.

Over the wkt is where he excels

Hardly. Rabada usually operates in the 133 k to 142 k zone in tests in the last few years. Maybe odd quicker balls.

When India was in SA he was bowling 90mph + on occasion and so was Burger

They had mid on up inside... That's the only reason I can think.

He is more comfortable over the wicket I think and should have kept bowling from that end

Round the wicket to lefty and hoping to get it straighten from middle is dream deliveries for pacers, doesn't come off that easily

He shouldn't be trying that, that too in last 2-3 overs

That line is tried in tests where you have endless overs to test batsmen's patience

I think lets just take this as an experience..IPL can be used to develop our young pacers..if he isnt comfortable with RTW..let him get comfortable here..even though he goes for runs..we want him to develop variety and options in his gameplan..

Incredible bowling by McMukeshGrath Kumar. 4 sharp, line and length overs, gave only 53 runs!

This is why we need slow medium pace bowlers who can maintain line and length, and who can bore batsmen to death. Wonder why some idiots want genuine, express pace bowlers to play!

They all go for runs on bad days whether slow or express but the difference is express pace is exciting and good to watch.

Plus quick pacers have much higher ceilings in international cricket if they pick up sufficient skills.

While these medium pacers will never become quick.
