This is well known, especially those aware of the crisis in Chile. That's why many nations are staying away from Chinese vaccines, unfortunately we have few morons wanting Chinese vaccines in India.

 

Chile was held as role model for its vaccination program, nearly 40% vaccinated 1st dose, yet Covid cases and deaths are have increased dramaticLly, on par with first wave, and now they have imposed third lockdown.

 

Guess what, all vaccines given were China's Sinovac.

 

Avoid Chinese vaccine like a plague.

 

There is a China hs not vaccinated it's own population despite its supposedley gold standard for Covid  control.

I think they didn't have a choice. They had to admit. Some countries of Middle East: Oman, UAE etc stopped their orders of the Sinovac and prefered to get SII/AstraZeneca's Covidshield.
