WHO has not approved Covaxin and hence not approved by Green Passport for travel in EU But CovidSheild (Az) is also not valid because it is manufactured in India, but the same AZ vaccine manufacturer Ed in UK/US is valid. ash Posted June 29, 2021 Posted June 29, 2021 Don't jump the gun, Covishield apparently didn't apply properly and it will be rectified soon. Reg Covaxin, was any vaccine approved without phase 3 results? If not, we can't expect them to approve Covaxin, not their fault.

It is the same vaccine It may be the same vaccine recipe, but supply chain for raw material and storage specifications may be different. There may also be minor changes in production line protocol to accommodate SII's equipment vs other factory floors' equipment. All this must be documented and approved carefully. Still don’t know why they aren’t accepted. Covaxin ran in to trouble with Brazilian order now.
