Were they lying? 15 hours ago, Trichromatic said: Govt has already asked states to collect data and that's what they are reporting daily. Also tried to get full statement of what minister said, but couldn't find details. How will you collect data when death is reported as another death due to covid or comorbitidies . Here is what happened with me . I was admitted on 30 th April in afternoon . At night the hospital declared oxygen is finished and just arrange beds in other hospitals or your own oxygen. It was one of the horrible night where I was gasping to breadth . Thankfully my brother arranged concentrator in morning . Now if I died on that night in shifting or because of lack of oxygen do you think my death would had been counted as death due to oxygen finished in hospital? Here is my tweet on that night for help As it was very small hospital with only 7-8 patients , I don't even know that if somebody died or not. I still remember I asked ward boy about oxygen shortage and he even said that big hospitals in Gurgaon has almost oxygen over. The fact is both state and central government's have extremely inhuman approach what happened in those days.
