What happened to him? Rehan Ahmed made debut now and is just 18 year old. I think last time i heard he was too slow when he was playing for england.

England's fascination for Pak born/Pak origin players is a story in & of itself. It's like they're carrying this pechle janam ka paap, post our partition, & paying it off in spades by being extra nice to these guys!

rehan is impressive, but he would not have been fast-tracked if not for the rafiq controversy, because with loss of moeen ali (and absence of rashid in tests), they need a british S. Asian player
