Should throw some cash out of the plane into the ECB begging bowls

Mumbai Indians have flown in three of its Indian contingent members, captain Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, and Suryakumar Yadav, to Abu Dhabi on a private charter flight. The trio, along with their families, arrived on Saturday morning and will now undergo 6 days of quarantine.

Royal Challengers Bangalore have arranged a special charter flight for captain Virat Kohli and pacer Mohammed Siraj from England to UAE for the IPL. In a press release, RCB stated, "The players will be flying out at 11.30 PM (UK time) on Saturday and will arrive in Dubai early Sunday morning. Both, Virat and Siraj will undergo 6-day quarantine in Dubai before joining the team bio-secure bubble."

Test gets cancelled at 9 am UK and by the evening, Rohit, Bumrah and SKY along with their families are on their way to UAE in a chartered flight!

The optics of it doesn't look good at all.

So if some players have already left are they not now concerned about the incubation period? They could potentially be positive and have passed it it on to their families and will arrive in UAE with covid! You can’t make this up :hatsoff:

Reports saying they had negative tests before departure and upon landing in Dubai . But the risk remains.

They were anyway living with their families in the hotel. Passed on happened in hotel itself. Incubation period is the reason they didn't play 5th test because if they test positive during the test they will get quarantined and test get cancelled anyway. With that, they also miss IPL. Now they will still have to quarantine in UAE and get tested before coming out. In this case if they test positive, they will still miss IPL.
