sarcastic
I think so except for a brief Sehwag-Gambhir combo for Dehli Daredevils and may be Shikar-Warner combo for one season, no opening pair dominated the opposition bowling so consistently as this pair. Kudos to them and may this continue for long and eventually bring their success to Indian national team once Shikar and Rohit call it a day. They consistently score runs at a good pace and almost bat the opposition out of the match with just their partnernship. Lord

RedFever
LOL, this was a sarcastic thread right ! ?How many matches have they won for the team apart from just padding up stats. The longer these 2 stay on the crease, the chances of opposition winning the match increases.

This pair has match losing strike rates most time Mayank has gone at around 150 last two seasons,KL around 132. Most teams will take that. For instance QDK has gone at 135 and Rohit 127,for lesser runs obviously and still get hailed.
