cricketfan28 Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 agree .. expecting miracles now .. middle order is toast.
nitinbwj Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 I am more worried about the fake Pandya playing in the XI.

And you will be proven wrong. Actually in these type of pitches you need exactly a player like Kohli. AuxiliA 1

Lets see. T20 is a different format of cricket, and a 10 ball 24 has way more value than a 28 ball 32. And the lower scoring the game, the more pronounced the value differential. At this stage, Pandya is a better fielder than drop-ohli, can potentially give you a clutch over or 2, and on the batting side, its arguable but reasonable to make that Pandya offers more value to the team in the "middle order" than Kohli. And kuptaan wrogn himself knows this. Thats why he's trying to become a T20 "opener". And India already has openers in Rohit and Rahul to take care of that. Kohli in the last couple of years is nowhere near as effective a t20 top order bat as those 2. Virat Kohli the captain and his limitations aside, Virat Kohli the T20 bat, in 2021, is a shadow of what he was in 2016. Come out from under your 2016 hangover, else you are just going to be "surprised and disappointed" when Virat pulls what Yuvraj did against the Lankans in a T20 WC.

Now please take a look at his t20I stats in the last two years and let's argue on the basis of stats and not your perception. Virat Kohli rarely disappoints India in t20 international, go check his performance vs eng this year where he was Man of the series. Also 28(10) is definitely better than 32(28) but 12(8) isn't better than 55(42) on pitches like these where a collapse is waiting to happen. Also Kohli pulling a Yuvraj of t20 wc 14 is what you wish, please learn how to differentiate between whims, fantasies and reality. Edited September 28, 2021 by Adamant
