Rajvardhan, Salaudeen, Prince Badiani, and Vasu Vatsa 4 fast bowlers already ready there with their claim for this u19 WC side. Salaudeen top wicket taker in Vinoo Mankad trophy.

yes hopefully they are good enough for internatinals, they do look promising.. Hopefully there are more which we have not seen in these videos. As i understand BCCI will have two tournaments in parallel with two India U19 teams in parallel against bangladesh & Sri Lanka, hopefully all of these kids get a chance to play in these tournaments before the selection for world cup.

One big challenge is to convert these young quicks with prospect into actual Team India pacers doing well after 3 to 4 years.

Many pacers have looked good at U19 level in the last 6 years ... but have regressed after that.

True, that's always the case, but seeing the potential also is quite exciting, the rest is upto the kids & management as to how they progress...

Great !

And looks quite sharp, doesn't he ?

Sharp for his age. Will be a tall fast medium bowler, Prince Badiani. I had posted about him last year.

Cant find the squads announced for u19 challenger trophy. 6 u19 teams will play in the tournament.

individual states are announcing on twitter, but BCCI has not yet released squads publicly.

There are around 6 teams means more than 70 odd players plying the U19 challengers. First time i believe.

Team A led by Yash Dhull of Delhi

At Dravid's behest, six teams to play in U-19 Challenger this time

https://m.timesofindia.com/sports/cricket/news/at-dravids-behest-six-teams-to-play-in-u-19-challenger-this-time/amp_articleshow/87235385.cms

MUMBAI: Set to take guard as the coach of the Indian team, Rahul Dravid has signed off from his previous innings with a 'masterstroke.'

TOI has learnt that with covid having halted junior cricket for the last two years, Dravid, who was till recently the head of the National Cricket Academy, had suggested to the BCCI to conduct the forthcoming Under-19 Challenger in Ahmedabad from November 2-10 as a six-team format, something that the Board agreed to. The tournament assumes significance in the light of the fact that it will be a selection tournament for the Under-19 World Cup, which will take place in the West Indies from the first week of January next year.

"It was an excellent idea from Dravid, which the BCCI has decided to implement. There's been no junior cricket for the last two years, which has left many under-19 cricketers deprived of the sport. A few games in the recently-held Vinoo Mankad Trophy were washed out. Six teams, consisting of 15 boys each, means that 90 boys will get a chance to make a case for themselves for selection into the India under-19 team. It will offer the selectors a wider pool of players to choose from. Initially, It was decided to pick 14 boys per team, but then BCCI secretary Jay Shah, in a meeting with the junior national selectors recently, proposed the number to be increased to 15, to enable more boys to get a chance," a source in the BCCI told TOI on Saturday.

Three boys from Mumbai-Ayaz Khan, Angkrish Raghuwanshi and Prince Badiyani, have been picked for the U-19 Challengers.

Looked really good in the videos.

Most importantly, he comes across as a proper fast bowler.
