we have 15 bowlers who can replace anyone any day. Cant blame selection headaches. I havent even considered the likes of Mavi who is bowling pretty well now and Arshdeep whi except for one match bowled outstandingly..

 

 

 

Till the time someone actually performs in international matches in whatever format, just IPL performances shouldn't be the sole parameter for selecting in ICC tournaments.

 

Which is why I would restrict my pacer pool to

galat observe kiya hai sirf....its just hard length problem which every power hitter in world has against currently at high pace . 

Its very diff to hit someone bowling at that pace at death, guys like kohli n rohit are set thats how they cant start sending them at 6-7 and look at their career going for toss. Even take dhoni , who also use to struggle 

Ppl think its easy to come n hit from ball 1 that to 145k+ ....na pitch ki pace samajhne ka time hota hai na kuch fir consistency bhi chahiye

Its not only a problem of hard length, he also struggles when fast bowlers bowl  off side deliveries and the field is packed on the off side. 

If you have seen him bat then you definitely can't deny this. 

This us exactly what happened at wc 19 semis.

semis men he was controlled by spinners and he was batting n bowling with a hamstring

Yes agree his form was haywire bcoz he started thinking himself as irreplacable. As a result was focussing more on Tik Tok than cricket. This reality check from selectors is what he needed and now he is focussing on his bowling which is good to see. Hope he carries on this momentum in world cup.
