Where is he now ? Quite frankly only the first U19 WC winning team gave top Indian players. Kohli is the only other exception. No longer true. 2016 gave Sundar/Pant 2018 gave Gill/Arshdeep/Abhishek and maybe Riyan 2020 gave Jaiswal/Tilak/Jurel/Bishnoi 2022 maybe Bawa. If Bawa and NKR develop well can play both as ARs

tweaker Posted October 16, 2025 Posted October 16, 2025 Raj Bawa should make this Ranji season count. So far bowled 18 overs and no wickets against Goa
Gollum Posted October 16, 2025 Posted October 16, 2025 Key to our SENA fortunes rest of this decade. Good luck to the lad.

NKR is good but more of a batting allrounder. Him developing well with NKR will give immense depth. Even unlocks Kuldeep/spinner. tweaker 1
Ultimate_Game Posted October 16, 2025 Posted October 16, 2025 IMO we should've given someone like Bawa or another pace all-rounder a go against WI alongside Nitish Reddy. We won't get a weaker opponent and have to find pace all-rounders ASAP for us to be competitive in SENA conditions where Sundar and Jadeja aren't a great bowling option.
