Faf du Plessis to be announced RCB captain

Not sure of the authenticity of the news but it seems to be on expected lines..

Kohli stepped down.. Maxwell will be unavailable due to his wedding and Australia duty. The only options left were DK and Faf.. Looks like they are going with Faf

That wud have been the only reason they spend so much on him, as batsman didnt make any sense specially when they have a similar batsman like kohli

Maxwell nyways wnt be avl in early part, although i wud have pref maxi over him as captain

They are hoping that he gained gyan from Dhoni about winning the match.

They are not going to play-offs, anyone may captain. Faf at 38 becoming the captain is a joke. Should have brought Warner in instead.

It is  about identifying the combination and assembling a team very fast. If you back a wrong combo at the very beginning it will take a while to identify it. When you identify early enough you can come back.  Kohli had outstanding combinations. But he never got the best out of them.

even then they paid too much. Warner was a steal by DC and not pushed much

yea made no sense to pay him when they already have a similar batsman like kohli
