Cannot imagine teams touring pakistan in 80s. Shakoor rana used to never give pakistani batsman out lbw. I guess miandad was never out lbw at home?

Chill karo, UAE me bhi ahsan raza etc were our umpires.

If Pakistan manage to chase 506 it will become the highest successful test run chase in test cricket history.

whatever babar and co have done so far is absolutely phenomenal. Chasing it all down is obviously unlikely but to bring it all the way here, bruhhhh what a partnership by babar and shafique

This is chaseable.

Babar and Rizwan should construct equations and take it till the point where we have 20 overs remaining.

Pakistan should try to get 60 runs in 17 overs and then assess the situation, if no wicket falls, go after 135 in 20 overs.

Are you for real? You do realize 6 wickets can easily fall in 20 overs too and all Starc needs to do is bowl full/yorker length.

Starc is not going to bowl all the 20 overs, also considering the temperature, expect the gas from starc for couple of overs at best which should be taken care of.

With smart set of play, win is pretty much possible.

aka the ones who forcefully try to up about mediocre indian bowling history and downplaying every pakistani bowler to exist due to insecurity of pakistan bowling arsenal through its history.

and the ones who cant get over waqar saying dumb religion **** lol, still dragging it to date tf lmao

anddd the ones who troll babar 24/7 with namecalling and trying to bring up names of mediocre current batsmen of their lineup to use as a comparision because they cant accept the fact pakistan has a batsman with potential who could maybe dethrone every asian batsman in history when the boots are hanged

and the worst ones, who keep talking about gabba lmao bruh. winning in australia is an achievement but not the end of the world, fkn hell the icc event trophy cabinet has been dry since 10 years jesus, all that chest pumping

and finally how can i forget, 'paxtan beat us because fluke broooo' instead of realising pakistan has a stronger team lol

I dont think pakistan is a better team.

I'd kill to have Rohit Sharma opening for me, if I was Babar Azam. Similarly, someone like jadeja is an ideal player for asian conditions.

Swepson is such a crap :phehe:but u xantvexcept to win a match on a flat wicket by dropping that many catches

They seem tired as well.

It is pretty hot out there to be honest, weather conditions have changed significantly as compared to Rawalpindi/Islamabad venue.

Now it is perfect situation for Pakistan to attack. Will Babar and Rizwan take risk here? We had exactly similar situation in Brisbane and Pant and Sundar just took off.

If they can't do it on such a flat pitch and tired bowlers they will never be able to do it. This is a golden opportunity

The Aussies should stop fighting till the last ball to win, they might continue to leak runs now and Pakistanis will do a Gabba to them in the final 10 overs . Bring on the fast bowlers, bowl some difficult lines, negative lines, restrict the scoring.

does anyone know how many fourth innings double centurions have existed in test cricket history?

https://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/stats/index.html?class=1;filter=advanced;innings_number=4;orderby=batted_score;template=results;type=batting;view=innings

Only 6 Batsmen have done it in the history of Test Cricket.

Gavaskar, Astle have done it

Kyle Mayers did it last year against BD which was a match winning effort.
