Others teams will too :dontknow:

MIs core is better

India bats

Ishan

Surya

Rohit

Attacking middle order and lower order

brevis

Pollard/Tim david

Ideal t20 pacers

Archer

Bumrah

They just need to plug a few holes.

Once their players get back to form, they willbe an amazing side.

IPL about forming teams by utilizing resources from world over to make a strong 11

Others teams have talented players too

Ishan Kishen never impressed me. Pant on other hand always was impressive. Pant's major weakness is his strike rotation. Once he gets that sorted out, he would walk in to any team in the world,.

Not saying ishan kishan is worth 15 crores....

But mi has a good base.

I forgot to mention Tilak Varma lol.

They could very well screw up the auctions next year tho.

Other teams hav talented players too.

MI's strategies in the past have been path breaking so I expect them to make a comeback.

Next few auctions would be mini auctions ... Teams usually only release a few players

Mega auction takes place once every 5-10 years (depending upon IPL plans)

No you aren't getting it bhai.

MI has nailed the core by splurging on them this auction.

They will use mini auctions to fill the gaps.

Imagine 4 overs of Bumrah and Archer at the start and the death.

Then batting of Tilak Verma, Ishan, Surya, Brevity and a Pollard style player.

Leaving aside Rohit who will still fire now and then.

Now add a quality (indian or overseas spinner), which MI will target in the next auction and maybe another Indian AR.

Then the team will be fully complete and likely go on a rampage mode.

On paper, most teams look good :dontknow:

(Not saying MI is not good on paper even the current one is not a 0-6 team)

Again why is that a problem. For this 19 cr, they got Varma, Brevis, Tim David, Fin Allen, Mills, Markande, and Undercutter. They have everything on paper at least, just that it didn't work as expected.

What? They couldn't get better players just because they were left with 19 cr. They have no real good bowling option to talk about apart from Bumrah.
