Hindsight is always 20/20.

Plus he doesn't weaken their line-up. They can have Tim David at 7. They bought everything in auction. A bowler for every phase, may need a better leggie.

Mayank Markande is in MI only, he may not be mouth watering but can be used as an alternative when Murugan is giving mediocre returns.

Has been found out around the channel. He will either look to drag everything to onside or look for third man. He has no other shot whatsoever. Very limited

At the moment, Pant vs Ishaan is not even up for discussion.

Pant is an automatic shoo in for the India call up.

At the moment neither. Both have their own problems in this format. India has to be open minded. You have to assume nobody is a sure starter and pick up the XI.

Most good Ind batsmen went in the 7-9 cr range … on top of that MI waited for Kishan at the auctions, not picking any player before Kishan (and then dented its budget)

That amount of money shud basically be not spent on anyone if so atleast on players who can give many games . Kishen is a kind of player who ll fire max 3-4 games a season on avg (not talking about that one golden season that everyone will have)

Players like Bumrah, KL gives u consistent performance almost 70-80% season

Warner, Watson, Gayle at their peak deserved that money

Right now Tim David for Pollard maynot be a bad swap
