MI may be tottering this season but they’ve been shrewdly building a clutch core of high pedigree youngsters who will help them dominate for the next few seasons

 

- Brevis

- Tilak

- David

- Thampi (has improved a lot this season)

- Kishan

- Archer (will likely be available from next season)

- Bumrah

 

 they just have to pick up a quality leg spinner in the upcoming auction and 2-3 good overseas players (Stokes, Starc, Cam Green, Sam Curran, etc)

If there was an year for Punjab, SRH, RR, it is this. For next few years are MI and GT will toy with other teams. They will give a glimpse of it towards the ending phase of the tournament.

Need at least 2 half decent all rounders, ideally Indian to allow flexible selections.

 

The loss of Pollard's batting and bowling form has been a big handicap. Before you could garuentee to get 3-4 overs out of Pollard.

Tilak is a handy all rounder who should be trusted more. We’ll probably see him get more and more overs as this season progresses

They should try Hritik Shokeen. Tim David and Fabian Allen are multi-dimensional players.
