Naseem is certainly skiddy like Shami...  Has definately improved.   However I think bringing him in T20s is a bad idea.  Either way he does has new ball skill.

He was 10 kphs quicker 2 years ago before undoing the action tweak that was made to save his back.

He didn't find that comfortable so went back to the old action which is less efficient.

Pretty disappointed if you ask me. He looked a world beating talent when he was bowling at 141-143  average pace.

if he can move the ball and be consistent even at 140-145k is enough to trouble any batter

Lacking control at 150k or bowling gun barrel straight at that pace wont help much

he went and played in different leagues around the world, exposure only improves a player

and about new ball skills , he had that from day-1 .............lacked consistency, stamina and experience . Playing in different conditions will only improve these things

he has played in CPL, hundred, county

Yep that helps...  More exposure at young age in different conditions.  A crash course of sorts.  BCCI should learn & at least send our upcoming fast bowlers to these leagues & county.  They are being wasted as of now.

Not just about speed...his allignment wont allow him to move the ball from the right angles,  also it will tire him out overtime leading to a reduction in pace.

yea they shud be allowed to play atleast some leagues that doesnt clash with our domestic- like hundred , CPL and everyone who is not playing in off season for any team shud aim for county contract. Guys like prasidh, umran and all other will progress far quicker . Someone like a prasidh will run riot in county and his stamina will increase too. Umran variation set will improve very quickly for LOI

Well, going by your logic, nothing gives a clearer picture.    Coz India and Pak play odi once in a blue moon (maybe in WC ie 4 years).  And don't play tests at all.      So, there is no way to properly find out which is the better team in longer formats.    If at all we consider ODI and test rankings, there is not much to choose between these 2 teams.  And ranking can often be misleading.   We saw what happened in 2017 CT Final when 7th ranked Poyz beat 2nd ranked India by 188 runs.

Lol you're now talking exactly like those delusional poyzz fans now.

We won 5 out of the last 6 ODIs against them. If that doesn't give a "clear picture", I don't know what does. And even after their defeat to Australia at home and draws to SL and WI, you think they're anywhere close to our test side?

There's no need for two teams to play each other to know the gap in talent and potential. England and Zimbabwe haven't played an international game in decades, you're gonna say we "can't" properly find out which is the better team?
