Yes Shammi will be back up if he is in some form and has decent fitness but if he is unfit then One among Kuldeep Sen or Umran will be in Back Up.

 

Any other team change expected in 15?

 

No change expected assuming Hooda is fit. if he is unfit iyer will replace him and may be ISHAAN Kishan or Samson could come on back Up.

I would say he is in the form of his life and is a matured bowler now.

 

As per my cricketing Skills, Siraj will definitely beat TRUNDLER KING Harshal Patel. i feel that guy has no special SKill except creating some different types of slow balls and He is now already sorted out. i feel he is a clever guy a perfect trundler who initially has capability to bowl steady but now he has some slow yorkers and slow bouncers.

entire world - even guys who dont play cricket know that harshal will bowl a slow yorker /full length Or a slow bouncer. i see batsman are now targeting him and hitting him out of the Park at will. i feel he will be hit big time and will play only one or 2 matches and after that his career will end.

i think selectors have no one as good as Siraj at present to replace Bumrah specifically when shammi has not played cricket for few months.

Per the squad announced - either Shami or D. Chahar is expected to be the replacement for Bumrah as they are reserves. 
 

IIRC, there was news of Siraj and Umran being picked as net bowlers, implying that they are not part of the main squad yet. 
 

However, BCCI can make any change without restrictions up to Oct 9th.

no one can replace bumrah or even come close to him but at present kuldeep sen and umran are raw and Siraj is well prepared and at his PEAK. if he cant deliver now , he can never deliver in his Life.

i dont see any one more than SHAMMI to replace BOOM but shammi is not fit so next in Line and pace and skills is Siraj.

we need a fast bowler and shardul is not a fast bowler - Siraj is. 

 

bhuvi, arshdeep, harshal patel are all trundlers and if we need a fast bowler we have to pick Siraj ( kuldeep and umran are too raw)

 

deepak chahar could be in back up with Shammi. i would want deepak chahar or shammi ro replace harshal patel too.

Harshal should never been selected in squad nothing against him but he is just not international class.Ideally I would kick him out and get both Siraj and Mohsin into the squad. But If only one I would lean towards leftie.

I am confident that Siraj will fly to Australia and as a part of 15- that would be right decision. else he will go as back up- which wont be the right call.

 

kuldeep and umran may go as Net bowlers.

 

i think deepak chahar may replace Harshal Patel finally in the 15 too.

He would be surprise IMO nothing to lose, Siraj with his decreased pace is eminently hittable. Siraj fills no role.Chahar would swing new ball and Arshdeep bowls last overs.

Siraj has not lost pace. 

 

If anything, his average pace has increased.
