Whatever is the decision, it will not fix the discrimination of Chindian kids in Ivy league admissions. In fact, it’s easier to get into best colleges as an immigrant Indian , as they look for diversity among many other criteria.

 

Any kind of official preferential policy should have a statute of limitations. I guess AA had its time limit reached. I wish the reservations in Indian system will end one day

Creamy layer quota / exception is voluntary I believe... Feel bad for an economically disadvantaged student who has to compete with a student whose  DAD is an IAS officer & mom is a govt official (both having come up through reservations)

About time. If Blum was sincere about bringing good change, he should've tackled this 20% legacy business first.
