that was a low for tendu, although the disclaimer is that tendu didn't play anderson at his (tendu's) peak. moreover, tendu had struggles against some bowlers like cronje

May be he brings out his best against top players. He earned his reputation.  With new ball he has troubled new batsmen.  Warner (31 avge), Gayle (25 avge). Kallis also average only 25 against Anderson.  Graeme smith 701 balls 411 runs 68.5 avge 58.6 SR

Not surprised by those numbers. I remember Saffers really buried him in 2012. 

 

Rohit and Rahul have been our best opening pair in England probably since 2007 atleast, lol. No wonder we were leading 2-1 on the 2021 tour.
