India's test batting in 2020s

Absolutely saddening. Really... 

 

In the ongoing game, we have two x-factor guys Pant and Iyer who have the ability to win this test on their own. Now imagine a team with 5 or 6 of these.... India has enough batting strength now to field an absolute beast of a batting unit in sub continent conditions... the one that is capable of scoring 300+ against any spin attack even on a bunsen burner. 

 

But nope..we are stuck with average / past the sell by date players occupying prime spots in the top order just because of the seniority chewtiyapa.
