There are only 8 decent teams max. It is foolish having a knockouts for those 8 teams. Might as well allow 8 teams in worldcup and make the qualifiers a long process. Link to comment

It is all about how you play the KOs that win you tournaments, finishing a group on a high is just one of the steps. Link to comment

The quality of cricket drops drastically when minnows play minnows. Even 10 teams is too many for a 50 over World Cup. Afghanistan lost every single match last time. Keep ODI World Cup to 9 teams with round robin, SF and Finals. T20 World Cups should have more teams and more knockout rounds. Link to comment
