So our finisher Pandya escapes all the blame. When will this guy take the mantle of senior player .He could have finished the game today.

he's the vice captain

Why blame the one guy who actually made an impact on the match. He was easily the best bowler for us  and also 40 off 40 on that wicket was fine.  Blame goes to opening bowlers,  KL and the other "allrounders" .

What is this notion , he played okay so he should be blameless. He got a start and as senior member he was supposed to be there till the end.

He had to try and accelerate. I told you in the match thread. Chasing in the last 10 overs at Chepauk is impossible. India needed 66 runs with 4 wickets in hand and he was with an extremely incompetent Jadeja at the other end . 6.5 RPO requires you to play out of your skins and even then it will fall short on that slowing wicket.

India failed to restrict Australia to a par score of 240. And then failed to take adequate risk upfront

Rohit said those were not too many runs given but hes wrong . The Aussies had a better measure and Agar mentioned that they felt 250 would be a tough chsse on this wicket
