He probably had the list of questions vetted with some pre-prepared answers etc. Still is a massive credibility hit when he deflects the question on Dawood Ibrahim living in the same neighbourhood as him ? A better journalist would have then peppered him with facts that Dawood is a wanted terrorist listed by the UN etc etc. That's where Sardesai went easy on him.
