Agreed. Also which lallu dropped bairstow? I remember kohli infuriating and pumping up bairstow for no reason. Kohli was a great captain but he purposely instigated opponents as he dint like bumrah outshining him as captain.

What ??? Who lost in 2018 by 4-1… India should have won last time after srtting up 370 target and  they chased down at the loss of 3 wkts with almost 5 rr in 4th inning because of our bowling choke job and that had nothing to do with ipl.

We came right after ipl. We were under prepared.

 

4-1 happened aeons back under kohli. Again wrong selections cost us. We couldn't chase 200 twice

Lol last time also kohli was captain sharma ji only captained in 5th test. Stop blaming ipl for bowlers not defending 370 in 4th inning and perennial one format failure  like Budhara  and Vihari who flopped badly and hardly play ipl.

Uhmmmm no. Bumrah was captain for the fifth test. He is an idiot. 

We came right after IPL with no preparation.

Pujara and vihari should have never been picked in the first place. 

Sharma was injured. 

We dint pick prasidh the tall bowler. 

 

Lots of blunders. 

Also in test you n3ed to bat time to allow Bowlers to get rest. Otherwise they can't bowl effectively. 

 

We barely last 50 overs in the second innings. Unnecessarily we got out on a dead pitch.

I hv been heavily criticising our crop of batsmen on multiple threads for last 3 yrs or so.  Almost tired of that now.  LOL.   Actually, I was the one who first came up with this name 'Discount Duckula'  on ICF.

Good captain is very important. Cummins may be captain in name but instructions is clearly coming from Smith.

 

We have lolhi praying for bumrah and rohit to flop as captain. 

Sad state of pitiful affairs. 

 

Rahane was the most balanced captain but he is an unreliable batsman sadly.

Even 2021 wc was scheduled later but ipl got shifted. Also world stops cricket for 3 months and now you want icc tournaments to be scheduled according to the way we want?
