I think over a period these 5-Test series will disappear. It may be reduced to 4 test or 3 test series. Bowlers are unable to handle the load. You need a great bench strength to handle 5 test series as some of them play T20Is and ODIs in addition to IPL

One silent impact bazball caused is workload increase for bowlers. THey hardly catch a break before turning up for the 2nd innings. Back in the 80s opposition bats for 100 overs just to score 250. Bowlers get sufficient break.

No one said Stokes is a great bowler.He is good enough bowler for his team.His primary job was to be fifth bowler with batting as primary skill.

 

Jadeja bowling stats are purely due to him bowling in very spinner friendly wickets.

Jadeja has done well with ball in Aus,WI,SL, too. Even did well in only Test he played in SA. All very spinner friendly wickets I guess.

 

Stokes was 5th bowler before but is now not even that.If Jadeja stats are due to pitches only, Stokes has also has swing conditions but still not good enough.

 

Stokes is better and more attacking bat, but Jadeja has played important innings both home and away too. Whereas Stokes for a 'great' bat has failed overseas

All the talk from Eng before the series and now seems like they won't win a single match. Robinson was on about giving them a hiding and now can't bowl himself.

Broad even after the 1st loss didn't shut up about intensity. 

Stokes with his mindless declaration. He's the only one though who has played the cricket expected of them.

 

Funny how this team whitewashed Pak in Pak and Aus only won 1-0 there but here at home, Eng don't seem to have any answers for Aus. Australia might just be the most complete test team right now.

I think Warner should never play another Ashes Test if England has Broad. It is not even a joke anymore. As old as Ambrose vs Mike Atherton.
