they did held their nerve during first 2 Tests.

England 80 mph trundlers were spent when Lyon walked in. There was no enforcer in their line up. If they had Wood they could have inflicted more damage. Andu was whining about pitch after the test. They are backing him again on a similar flat pitch

Smith + Labu + Warner = 475 runs @26 this series

England has done very well against these three .Their trundlers are somehow taking 20 wickets even on flat wickets.

Not hard to do well against them. Smith and Warner not exactly in prime form. Smith just uses some funky methods to score runs. Otherwise not the same anymore. Labu is increasingly proving he is just a HTB at this point.

Head is the only one reliable guy Australia guy. He is a chancy batsman himself. Khawaja is okay on flat tracks against lesser pace.

Indian bowlers could not even do well against them at home also. They lost one test and drew another.

Khawaja got beat on the angle , pace does not matter. Wood is not blowing them away.

Indian fast bowlers should be doing far better than ageing English bowlers even in England. Otherwise there is no point in playing four fast bowler.

Come to India sentiment needs to be thrown out of the window.

When you let other team score 469 , you have killed your chances of winning the test.

why? England bowlers knows these conditions inside out and adapt faster to lengths required.

Even Aus scored 416 and 386 in current Ashes in previous Tests.

469 is no way killing chances to win a Test. You need to bat well and match the score which we never do.

Yes , they have lost but that was more due  selection being bad. India should be doing far better than England IMO. England simply does not have any bowling.

How many teams are winning after giving up 469.

The one test we lost was due to batting. It is pathetic to get bowled out by such bowlers. We would have lost more but for Axar's batting. With right batting line up we would have won 3-0

Eng beat us after we scored 420 in 5th Test 2022, that too without batting well. Entirely possible especially if you bat well and match first innings score.

One bowler sucking can impact other bowlers. Leaky Umesh's toothless bowling screwed us over.  He has a career average of 40 and economy of 4 against Australia. yet we thought he would be our guy

India is not better side than England in England, specially without Bumrah and Pant. Conditions are everything in Tests.
