vvvslaxman Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 Pure guess. Anderson is in mainly to bat in his very last match in his home ground.
vvvslaxman Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 Whattay shot by Bairstow. He hardly has any backlift or follow through. ONe of his unique shot against short ball

vvvslaxman Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 Starc is bowlign wide yorkers like in one dayers
rageaddict Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 Should declare now or bang bang AO, no point hanging around.

putrevus Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 If Johny scores 100 now with Jimmy at one end. Aussies will not be able comeback in this series.
vvvslaxman Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 Australia wanted to get away with 2 draws. So they loaded the side with batsmen. It is backfiring. It will also take toll on their bowlers which will impact their performance in 5th test.
Vijy Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 bairstow is accelerating. last 34 balls, 48 runs (SR of 140, about rohit and kohli's T20 SR)
vvvslaxman Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 What timing. Damn. Bairstow for all his power hitting is a wonderful timer

putrevus Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 Aussies had to do better with their bowling, what is point of having tall fast bowlers if you are unable to impose your self on the batsmen. They should have pounded with short pitch bowling.

Aus did a stupid move of reviving an Eng that was going downhill

Aus did a stupid move of reviving an Eng that was going downhill Lol what? Let's replace England with Aus here and assume Bairstow doing the same instead of Carey. You think that would enrage Aus? Ashes is a serious rivalry but not an emotional melodrama like India-Pakistan match.
vvvslaxman Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 Inflicting psychological scars. Australia is done for the series i must say. Smith as produce one of those vintage innings for Australia to get away
