Wow. What a ball from Anderson. Khawaja was very lucky not to get an edge. He blindly chased the swinging ball.

old man has still got it. could have bullied indian flashy players like gill on this patch

Would have lost a few. Every single ball was on the money.

Is Boland a nightwatchman or a top order batsman?

So far he is doing mroe than a decent job. They have issue against tail. Bumrah alone t roubled them twice. Then Shami batted like proper batsman at the Lords.

Eng are already a bowler short.  Dont think M Ali will be able to bowl.

Stokes will bowl if needed.  Their strength is their skill in different types of deliveries. That make them more potent than they are on the paper. For isntance Broad can bowl a decent b ouncer, yorker, outswinger to lefties,  Bumrah had so many tricks up his sleeves before injury. THat is like having 2 bowlers in one.  But you can stifle them with good batting.  Missing piece in their line up is Mark wood.

I totally agree with Punter here. Y ou want to keep the scoreboard moving. Getting stuck here with loss of overs will make the job harder for the rest when they actually lose the wicket.

England have got the best of the weather in this match. Mostly batting under sun. Get to bowl under clouds here. Cloud modification theory making sense

I think even our tail can hold their forte against these English seamers with their dobbly 130 KPH length balls. That is exactly why Australia are going to walk their way to this target. Cummins, Lyon and Hazlewood alone are capable of scoring 50 between them.
